Empower Yourself - Take Control of

Vendor Performance the Right way!

IF KNOWLEDGE IS POWER ...  COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY TO UNLOCKING THAT POWER!

So tell me,  are you keeping up to date and current in communicating personnel, policy and administratve changes to your venders?  How's that working for you?  Are you putting out fewr fires due to misinformation?  What are your expectations from the vender and what are their expectations from you?  That's an interesting perspective wot?

Are venders responding to your needs they way you need them to?

Or are you still facing the same tired, old repetitive problems despite your best efforts?

Sometimes we forget that for each organizational or proceural change, there is a trickle down effect to our venders.  Each time we change staff, revise our documentation, update Policy and Procedres or bring on new faces or owners, the door is thrown open to a new batch of errors and omissions.  Suppliers must be kept INFORMED.  That is OUR obligation to THEM.

You don't have to tell me how busy your Purchasing Deparment is!  We should all be part of the Fire Fighters Union.

At SCRAM we bring your suppliers up to date. We educate them to new supply chain parameters. We address the failure points and the bottlenecks.  We get them back on the right track.

Fom experience I can tell you that you cannot do what we do!  You don't have the time.  That's a fact.  You are putting out fires all day long. We boh know it and it has to stop.

Typical issues gangling upon the thread of poor communication include:

  1. late shipments

  2. drop shipments

  3.  expedited shipments

  4. back orders

  5.  missing documentation

  6.  expired products

  7.  ambiguous quotations

  8. poor packaging

  9.  receiving damaged materials

  10. incorrect quantities

  11. early/incorrect invoicing

  12. INCO inaccuracies…

Each of these issues COST YOU MONEY and increase your Risk...        Contact us today. It costs you nothing.                results@supplychainrisk.org
